| In an effort to extend the range of my EZ-3 trike I have been researching lithium-ion batteries. To double my range it would cost me over $1000.00. To change from two 12V-12Ah lead acid batteries to two 12V-26Ah lead acid batteries would only add 18 lbs. For a savings of over $850.00 dollars I decided to put up with the extra 18 lbs. Hopefully, in the near future, the cost of lithium-ion batteries will come down or a new and better battery will be developed. |
